First Annual Athletes for Kids and Skyline Football Camp

On October 1st, over 50 mentors, buddies and family members took to the Skyline Football field to participate in a fun filled afternoon of football camp. It was a positive, successful afternoon for everyone who participated!

Athletes for Kids Recognized as Top Mentoring Program

Athletes for Kids was just named an Expert Partner by Mentoring Works Washington. Athletes for Kids achieved Expert level through a rigorous, guided evaluation process that is based on over 20 years of national research and experienced practitioner insight. This designation means that Athletes for Kids is committed to following quality best practices that help ensure the community’s youth and volunteers are safe and that they experience mentoring relationships that result in positive outcomes. Mentor Celebration Dinner

Stories of inspiration, friendship, and changed lives were shared at the Athletes for Kids Annual Mentor Celebration Dinner. Kasen Williams from the Seattle Seahawks spoke and helped honor 26 of our graduating seniors.

Boeing and The Seattle Seahawks connect community organizations that support youth throughout the Northwest. They selected Athletes for Kids to participate in the Legion of Youth. Sixteen AFK Buddies and eight current mentors were honored to be a part of this amazing opportunity.
