AFK was among the winners of King County’s District 3 Councilmanic Grant in 2024.
Dorsey Foundation Grant – 2023
The Dorsey Foundation generously awarded a $5,000 grant to Athletes for Kids in 2023.
2023 Seattle Kraken Hero of the Deep Award
Athletes for Kids was honored as one of the Seattle Kraken’s Heroes of the Deep and awarded a $32,000 donation from the Kraken Unity Fund in the 2022-2023 season.
July 2023 Aven Foundation Grant
The Aven Foundation generously awarded Athletes for Kids with a $10,000 grant in July 2023.
Ben Bridge Awards $110,000 in Community Grants to Celebrate their 110th Anniversary
Ben Bridge chose 11 organizations throughout California and the Pacific Northwest to each receive up to a $10,000 grant. AFK was one of the 11 organizations awarded with the grant.

The Issaquah Chamber of Commerce held it’s 40th Annual Community Awards. AFK Was honored to win the Caring Community Award presented by Life Enrichment Options a community based nonprofit that advocates for and works to support individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their goals.
